Terms of service
Last updated: 4 June 2026
These terms govern your use of GhostQR. They are not legal advice and are pending review by counsel. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
GhostQR lets you create static and dynamic QR codes. A dynamic code encodes a short ghqr.au link whose destination you can change after the code is printed, and records pseudonymous scan analytics. A static code bakes its content into the image and is fixed once created.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
You must not point a code at, or use GhostQR to distribute, phishing, malware, illegal content, or anything that infringes others’ rights. Destinations are screened against Google Safe Browsing, and we may pause, disable, or removeany code or account that breaches these terms or threatens the platform’s integrity.
Dynamic codes & redirects
You are solely responsible for the destinations you set. Redirects are served as temporary (302) so you can change them at any time; we do not guarantee that any particular short link will resolve indefinitely if a code or account is removed for abuse or non-payment.
The Claude / AI connector
You may connect an AI assistant such as Claude to your account using a personal access token you generate. If you do:
- You are responsible for keeping your token secret and for everything done through it, within the scopes (
read, write, delete) you grant. Treat it like a password and revoke it if it may be exposed. - Your use of any third-party AI client is governed by that provider’sterms. GhostQR is not responsible for an AI client’s output, suggestions, or actions — including any change it makes to your codes on your instruction.
- Access through the connector is subject to rate limits and to your plan’s quotas, and we may adjust or withdraw the connector with reasonable notice.
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our pricing page for current plans. If you downgrade below your usage, existing codes keep working but you may be unable to create new dynamic codes until you are back within the limit.
Availability & warranties
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GhostQR is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss arising from a destination you set, an action taken through a token you issued, or any third-party AI client you connect.
Termination
You may stop using GhostQR and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Questions? Email legal@ghqr.au.
