1. Paste the full destination URL, such as your menu, booking page, or event details.
2. Download the code as PNG or SVG. Keep clear white space around it when placing it in your design.
3. Scan a test print with your phone before ordering a batch. Check that it opens the right page at the size and distance people will use.

The generator runs in your browser. The URL you enter is encoded directly into the downloaded static code.

Choose a static code when the URL will stay the same. It does not depend on a GhostQR redirect or subscription. Your destination website still needs to remain available.

Choose a dynamic code before printing if you need to change the destination later or measure scans. It encodes a GhostQR short link and requires a paid plan. Compare prices and code allowances.

You cannot turn an already printed static code into a GhostQR dynamic code. If you own its destination website, you may be able to redirect that URL yourself. See what can be edited after printing.

Use a dark code on a light background. Avoid cropping its white border, stretching it, or placing it over a busy photograph. SVG is useful when your print designer needs to resize the code without blurring it.

A long URL creates a denser pattern, so it may need more room. Test the actual printed material, lighting, and scanning distance. Adding a logo or changing colours in the full generator makes another scan test worthwhile.
